Hospitalar 2026: HSC Global Connects Brazilian and International Regulatory Partners

HSC Global Group took part in Hospitalar 2026 at São Paulo Expo, connecting Brazilian and international manufacturers to its ANVISA, FDA, EU MDR, MDSAP and ISO 13485 regulatory consultancy services. Over the four days of the fair, the team met industry leaders seeking to navigate Brazilian and international regulatory requirements with confidence.

Hospitalar 2026: HSC Global Connects Brazilian and International Regulatory Partners

Calling Hospitalar a "trade fair" hardly captures it. São Paulo Expo packed, more than a hundred thousand people moving between stands, accents crossing in the corridors and a full schedule from the first coffee until after seven in the evening. It is the week when Brazil's healthcare industry pauses, sets up its operation and opens its doors to the world. HSC Global Group was at the centre of it, connecting medical device and pharmaceutical companies to the highest regulatory and quality standards in Brazil and abroad.

For those who experienced the 2026 edition, it was more than a busy schedule. It confirmed, in person, that the regulatory landscape is being reshaped and that being close to the people making decisions makes all the difference.

HSC Global at Hospitalar 2026, São Paulo Expo: four days of participation, a full schedule and partnerships moving forward.

Over four days, our team met Brazilian and international manufacturers, distributors and industry leaders. In their own way, everyone returned to the same question: how to navigate ANVISA requirements to enter Brazil, FDA requirements to scale in the United States, MDR and IVDR requirements to operate in Europe, MDSAP requirements to open five markets at once, and ISO 13485 requirements to structure the quality system supporting it all.

What did HSC Global set out to achieve at Hospitalar 2026?

We arrived with three clear objectives, decided before the first coffee:

  1. Identify international manufacturers needing regulatory support to enter Brazil. Our country is Latin America's largest healthcare economy and a natural gateway for companies looking to scale across the region, but ANVISA requirements can be insurmountable without a local partner who understands the terrain.
  2. Deepen relationships with Brazilian clients expanding internationally. More Brazilian manufacturers want to export to the United States (FDA), the European Union (MDR and IVDR) and MDSAP markets, requiring a more sophisticated regulatory approach than domestic operations alone.
  3. Find strategic partners who share our commitment to excellence in quality and compliance. Distributors, conformity assessment bodies, certification bodies and laboratories extend HSC's team at the operational front line.

These three objectives guided every conversation.

What is HSC Global's value proposition internationally?

HSC Global Group offers a combination rarely found in the Brazilian market: technical depth in regulatory affairs (ANVISA, FDA, EU MDR and MDSAP), quality management under ISO 13485 and a robust training platform through HSC Academy. Consultancy, auditing and training under one roof. That is exactly what the companies we spoke to at Hospitalar see as a real competitive advantage: there is no need to coordinate four different suppliers to build an in-house regulatory operation.

In practice, this means taking ANVISA regulation and turning it into a weekly workflow: each document with an owner and a deadline, each technical decision reviewed by the person signing it, and each inspection anticipated before the official audit arrives. The result is a product registered, distributed and audited with predictability. Without improvisation or rework.

Good intentions alone cannot get you through this.

The difference between a company that obtains ANVISA registration in fourteen months and one that struggles for three years is rarely luck. It is technical preparation, the right partner at the right time and a quality threshold that does not slip at the first scheduling pressure.

The conversations started in São Paulo mark the beginning of regulatory journeys lasting years. That is why we want to travel those journeys alongside our partners, from the initial assessment to an audit three, five or ten years from now. In the coming days, each contact will become a tailored proposal and initial assessment, at the pace of the projects presented. In the following weeks, feedback meetings will be scheduled and assessments will become documents setting out identified gaps and a proposed timetable. As a project progresses, HSC becomes an extension of the client's team, with an agreed meeting schedule and full visibility of the next steps.
